The last place Pia wants to be is on a family vacation in a sleepy Cornish village. She's anticipating two weeks of mind-numbing boredom. Then she meets Trey, a local boy. He's absolutely gorgeous. The trouble is — he knows it. He's arrogant and egotistical, and Pia intends to avoid him at all costs. But Trey is not the kind of guy who gives up easily. When he sets his sights on Pia, her resistance is futile. It's just a holiday romance, some light-hearted fun, right? But one of them is about to discover that still waters do, indeed, run deep. When what lurks beneath the surface finally erupts, the consequences may prove to be catastrophic.
For ages 17+ due to sexual content and strong language

Pia is on a family vacation, that is full of boredom and no cell service. Meeting Jake will have time passing quickly. His annoying, arrogant, a pain in the ass and is persistent.

Throwing caution to the wind, Pia excepts Jake's offer for dinner. These two will become close.

Closing towards the end of her vacation, Pia learns some information about Jake. He's a man whore, who always attracts the girls who are on vacation in his village. Pia knew she should of listen and not let him in. Why was she so stupid. Does she have feelings for him? Now she can't believe anything he's told her.

Returning home, Pia starts missing Jake. With him asking her to come back to visit, will she get the answers she needs? Will their relationship go further, but how can this even work? They live hours away from each other.

Just Stay was a hard book to get into. It never pulled me in and was hard to keep my concentration. I never connected with the characters, never felt that love I instantly get when I read. This book just wasn't for me. It felt a bit immature, but then had adult situations in it. Which just confused me all to be damn. The language is a bit different, and that was another thing that hurt it for me. I'm an American, so trying to understand some of the terms were a bit hard. Pia has an annoying habit of CONSTANTLY saying 'erm'. I don't want to say its just horrible, but it's just a book that isn't for ME. It could be a book for you. The writing was good, the plot okay. Who doesn't love a summer fling? So, give this book a try and see if it's for you.

Michelle Abbott lives in the UK and hates describing herself in 3rd person.
She's a self-published author who loves to write new adult romance about heroes who begin as the underdog and are protective of their girl.

She's an avid reader of romance, is addicted to coffee and loves wine and chocolate, so yeah, not the most healthy eating and drinking habits :-) She spends way too much time online when she should be writing. She collects teddy bears and occasionally knits a couple of rows on a sweater she started years ago, which she may eventually finish in time to wear for her funeral :-)
