Excerpt

Cole knew how to make Allison purr like a kitten, and she was doing it now. When he was inside her, he truly felt like he was home. There was no one on earth that made him feel the way she did. It was too bad too, because he’d spent a lot of time trying to find a girl who would.

He rocked his beloved captive, each stroke an apology for his transgressions. Each kiss, each caress, a way to make up for his gritty, bad behavior in the past. Bringing them both to a climax of torrid bliss was the only way he knew how to love her. And tonight he wanted to bring their passion to a whole new level.

I yawned and was about to pull out my phone when one of the sexiest men I’d ever seen walked through the door.

The vibe that entered the room with him was so intense that I almost giggled out loud like a schoolgirl. His sandy-brown hair had just enough curl to give it a mind of its own, and make him look like he’d spent the day surfing. Or maybe doing something more naughty to mess it up.

To my disappointment his navy blue coveralls didn’t have his name scrawled on them, but I did notice a line of tattooed blue stars trailing down one side of his neck, and it made me wonder where that tattoo ended and what other ones he was hiding beneath his clothes. He moved with the grace more common of an athlete than a mechanic, and his green eyes had a soulful intensity that made my heart skip a beat.

“How can we help you today?” The Adonis spoke, startling me from my thoughts. His voice was deep and sexy and I wanted to hear more of it.

“Um, I dropped my car off last week, but before I wrecked it, it was giving me some problems.”

“What kind of problems?”

“Like a squeaking problem.”

“Were there times it did it more than others?”

Now I felt stupid, and I wished I could drive the car for him and let him hear it for himself, but I jacked it up pretty good when I hit that tree.

“Not really?”

There I went sounding tentative again.

“It’s probably a belt. We can fix it.”

The confidence in his voice made me think this man could take care of any problems a girl might have.

“So, I’m not a stranger?” Bridger teased.

When he held me in his arms like that, the last thing he felt like was a stranger.

“No,” I managed shyly. I couldn’t believe how comfortable I was around him. He and I came from different worlds, but his embrace seemed like the safest place in the world. I suspected those big strong arms that just pulled me around the dance floor could protect me better than any man I’d ever met.

“Want to dance some more?” he asked.

“Yes.” I nodded enthusiastically.

We whirled across the floor, his hand on the small of my back guiding me, the muscles on the back of his neck pulsing under my fingertips. He smelled better than I would have dreamed—a combination of sandalwood and leather that spurred a sense of longing that made me imagine kissing his earlobe.

But before I could summon the courage to do it, the band stopped playing, and Bridger grabbed my hand. “Ready?”

I was ready for anything he wanted, so I said, “Sure.”

He walked me out to the parking lot and stood by an old gray pickup truck. That didn’t surprise me, but when he opened the passenger door to the eggplant-colored Dodge Viper next to it, I was caught off guard.

“I thought—” I started, but then tried to stop myself before I said something stupid, or worse, insulting.

He chuckled. “That the pickup was mine?”

I smiled, but didn’t answer.

“I get it.” Then he mumbled something about an inheritance and got behind the wheel. So, the mechanic, who’d been wounded in combat and was a SEAL no less, was also an heir of some sort. The better I got to know Bridger, the more I realized he was much more complicated than I’d originally thought.

There was a lot more to him than that deliciously curly brown hair and those piercing green eyes.

**AUDIOBOOK RELEASE BLITZ With Giveaway** Web Master Trilogy by Normandie Alleman

Web Master Trilogy
Author: Normandie Alleman
Genre: Contemporary Romance

An online connection.
Masked by anonymity.
No cameras. No pictures.
Curiosity ignited to intrigue.

I thought I knew what I was getting into, but had no idea how far we would go...

My intention was to test the waters, dip my toe in the wading pool. Instead I surrendered to the world of seduction and submission as he submerged me--body, mind, and soul--into an ocean of eroticism.

Emails, texts, and hidden identities, were one thing. But now, coming face-to-face with the mystery man, the star of my fantasies, both terrifies and completely thrills me. If all goes according to plan, he will intensify the exquisite bond we share by transporting me to that glorious intersection between agony and ecstasy. If not, everything we've built will come crashing down around us, destroying my dreams in the process.

Either way, there is no going back. Because I want more. Much more.
He always says, "For every ounce of pleasure, a price must be paid."

And I am going to pay ...

Excerpt

This would be the first meeting where I would see my lover face-to-face.

He’d left strict instructions for me to sit at the table he reserved for us. He requested I sit with my back to the entrance. This tricky move on his part allowed no way for me to see him as he entered. If his intention was to control and torture me, it was working. A loose strand of hair tickled my cheek, so I tucked it behind my ear.

I watched for the waiter, again wanting that drink, but as much as I hated being outside my comfort zone, I loved the naughty, decadent feeling I got from doing something simply because my Master told me to. When I submitted to his demands, I stepped outside my safe little world, the one where my ex-husband ignored me for years, where I felt inconsequential. With him I wasn’t invisible. He relied on me.

Sure, it was for things of a sexual nature, but to me, that was something, and I felt fulfilled for the first time in ages.

A few months ago, when I’d been supremely pissed at my cheating husband, I went online. I admit it, I’d been looking for trouble, which was mind-numbingly easy to find. I hadn’t intended to find a darker side of myself with needs that shocked me. I’d never meant to find someone. I’d merely been looking, searching—for what, I wasn’t sure.

What I did find was a whole new world of dominance and submission, self-inflicted pain as well as pleasure, and sexual satisfaction with a stranger. A man who reached out and touched me in corners of my soul I hadn’t known existed. We spoke every day, I performed sex acts upon myself at his command, and sent him reports on the intimate and sometimes humiliating tasks he gave me.

I was his submissive, and he was my Master, and every aspect of our relationship took place over the internet. I addressed him as “Sir,” but in our chats he went by the moniker, “MC.” We communicated via Skype, email, chats, and the occasional phone call, never seeing one another. That is, until today.

I had insisted we not use cameras, even though he implored me to do webcam “sessions.” My privacy was of the utmost importance to me, so I always refused. I’m a kindergarten teacher and couldn’t take the risk of being videotaped. So the only notion I have of what my Master looks like is a product of my imagination.

But today he flew to Houston to meet me in person. To have a real “play date.” In the flesh. A chill ran across my skin, leaving a trail of goosebumps in its wake.

Today I would finally meet the man who dominated me for the past few months. My stomach roiled with anticipation. What would he look like? Would it matter? Of course whatever he looked like, he wouldn’t be the “Master” I’d daydreamed about.

Things never worked that way. It would be like conjuring an image for the hero in a book. When a movie is made, the actor never matches the character in your head. It was always a disappointment.

I’d tried to prepare myself for that from the beginning. I never pictured MC to be a handsome movie star. Instead, I envisioned him as rather average, with salt-and-pepper hair and kind features. For some reason I pictured him wearing glasses, and possibly a beard.

In any case, it wasn’t his physical appearance that captivated me. MC awakened a primal response in me. He exposed my mind to a world in which I could be open about my sexual desires. A world where the wanton girl inside me was encouraged to come out and play, rather than squelched and pushed into a back closet where she had always lived. He controlled my sexuality, sensing my deepest, darkest needs. And it didn’t hurt that he made me feel cared for and cherished at a time when I desperately needed that.

My phone showed it was 5:12. Any minute now… The wait had been both excruciating and delicious at the same time—a perfect reflection of our relationship, a testimony to both pain and pleasure.

“Close your eyes, my pet.” The familiar voice was a sound I’d come to crave, and hearing it sent shivers of anticipation dancing down my spine. Suddenly, I wanted to freeze that moment in time, to stop while things were still beautiful between us, before reality could mar the fantasy…

**RELEASE BLITZ With Giveaway** The Baller's Secret Baby by Normandie Alleman

Title: The Baller's Secret Baby
Series: Barnes Family #1
Author: Normandie Alleman
Genre: Sports/Contemporary Romance
 Release Date: July 20, 2016

Blurb

He may be a player, but this stud’s not shooting blanks.

NICK
I'm nobody's baby daddy.
I don't care how many stunning women throw themselves at me,
looking to turn one hot night into an eighteen-year paycheck.
I've got way too much on the line to throw it away for one night of pleasure.

Ball is life, and basketball is my first priority.
I've got a championship to win.
But when I see that familiar face shaking her pom-poms on the sidelines,
I’m transported back to childhood,
Back to the days before a fiery plane crash ripped us apart,
forcing us to grow up overnight.
Those were the days when Eden Evans stole my heart.
This time, I might be ready to give it right back to her.

EDEN
I have no interest in a man who comes with groupies.
With a rock legend for a father, I’ve seen the toll fame takes on a marriage.
The last thing I need is a guy with more Twitter followers than Justin Beiber.

So when Nick Barnes dribbles his way back into my life,
my heart and head go into battle.
I can't fight my desire for the sexy baller with his eight-pack abs
and panty-dropping charm.
And when that little stick shows an unmistakable plus sign,
suddenly, everything is on the line.

With a secret baby on the way, will Nick realize that having the home court advantage is what he's wanted all along?

I ordered for us both and we settled into an easy conversation. Being with her felt like slipping into an old pair of comfortable shoes—if those shoes were the hottest kicks ever, and they made your stomach do a flip when you wore them.

The champagne arrived, and I made a toast. “To old friends.”

“To old friends,” she repeated and clinked her glass against mine. “I probably shouldn’t be drinking this.”

“Why is that?”

Then she told me about the scrutiny she was under from the cheerleading director of the Scorpions.

“I hear you. I don’t drink much during the season myself, but tonight seems like a special occasion.”

“Oh, it is. I agree with you! And I am having the fish.”

“You are. What a good girl.” I wanted to offer to help her work off some of the calories later, but I behaved myself and only thought it.

She giggled. “Okay, so I have a question.”

“Shoot.”

She smiled before continuing. “I heard these girls talking about how you have bunnies… What does that mean?”

It was my turn to smile. “It’s like saying someone has hops—like they can jump.”

Her face lit up. “Oh, so it’s like how Charles Barkley calls you Air Apparent because you can dunk so well.”

“Yes, exactly like that.”

“How do you do it—dunk I mean?”

I shrugged. “Practice. Lots of practice.”

“Well, that’s a relief. I was afraid they were talking about Playboy bunnies.”

We both laughed.

“Not quite. I steer clear of that place.”

“The Playboy Mansion?”

“Yeah. That scene is a trap for guys like me.”

“In what way? Seems like guys like you would love that sort of, ahem, environment.”

“Nah. Maybe if we could stay incognito, but once people recognize you, know you’ve got money, they all want one thing from you.”

“And I’m guessing it’s not your hops?”

“Nope. Everybody wants a payday, a piece of you. When you’ve got money you can’t trust anyone.”

She shook her head. “Especially if you’re famous. I do well with my medical business, but it’s not the same.”

I stood corrected. Damn, I needed this girl. She brought me back down to Earth.

Taking her hand across the table, I held it, the warmth of her skin felt so good in my hand that for a moment I forgot all the outside pressures, the untrustworthy people and the users in the world. Everything else melted away and it was just me and Eden, who’d known me when I was a boy. The girl who was my friend before I became a household name or signed my first contract for millions. When it was just us blowing bubbles during the hot summer days and chasing fireflies at night.

Holding hands with her like this—it felt like home.
