This is a good friends to lovers book.  now we did get some laughs, but I was expecting more.
I wasn't expecting the drama we got.  Don't get me wrong, I'm not complaining.  I did enjoy this and I liked the twists.
I loved how Kirby is an extreme horror author with a cat named Murder.
Colin isn't your sterotypical rockstar, at least not from what we saw of him.  He's a great guy.  He loves Kirby, but he didn't realize that it wasn't a friends only way for a bit.
The characters are very lovable.

When I started this book, I didn’t realize it was the fourth in a series.  I haven’t read the first three.  I didn’t feel lost or that I was missing anything.  It is a complete standalone.

I thought this would be another laugh out loud read.  Don’t get me wrong, there were a few scenes that did have me laughing.

I just didn’t connect with Violet much.  It’s not that I didn’t like her, I did.  I was just missing the connection that I love to have while reading.

Deacon is a good character.

The writing is great.

This is a case of an “it’s me, not the book.”  It was a little slow for me.

I would say to give this a chance because I have a feeling I’m in the minority with my opinion.

This is a good read, I just didn’t love it.
