This is yet another great stand alone by Penelope Ward that will have you laughing out loud at parts.  I couldn’t put this one down.

Rana and Landon were friends in middle school.  Just friends, nothing more.

This is all told from Rana’s point of view.  I would have loved having Landon’s also.

She moved away and never saw Landon again.  She’s thought of him though.

After a night of drinking, she looks him up, and calls him to let him have it.

Drunk dialing is usually never a good idea.  This time things ended great.

I love how Rana doesn’t have a “normal” job.  Either does Landon.

It made them more relatable.  They were normal.

Both have been through some pretty messed up things.   They do have some baggage.

This is a great read.
