This is the fourth book in the Minds Eye series.  I do recommend that you read them in order because of the developing relationship between Levi and Trudy.  Each book has a new case that they work on together, so that part is a stand alone.  But, their relationship continues to progress through each book.  And it’s been great to see what is happening for them, and between them.

It isn’t all butterflies and rainbows on the relationship part.  They truly do love each other, but both have baggage.  We’ve gotten most of Levi’s in the other books.  This book is focused more on Trudy’s hang ups.  They aren’t as big as Levi’s demons, but they’re still demons.

Trudy needs to fully accept that Levi doesn’t care if she spends “his” money.  She still calls their penthouse “his house”.  She has such a low self image of herself.

Levi has made some huge strides.  He’s all in, and there’s no getting him out.  Not that he wants out or anything like that.

They find themselves in New Orleans after a serial killer.  We do know right away who it is, but how is he doing it?  Why is he?  How long will it take Trudy and Levi to catch him?

There are some twists, and they were great.

This is a great suspense, and love, story.  I really enjoy this series.

When psychic Trudy Tucker hears this plaintive cry in her mind and then connects psychically with a little girl’s kidnapper, she is drawn to a small town in Missouri where everyone is suspect – including herself and her lover, celebrated psychic detective Levi Wolfe. This is the third book in the Minds Eye series. You need to read these books. You should read them in order because of the developing relationship between Trudy and Levi. This is my favorite of the three books. I can’t wait to read more about these two. Deborah Camp did a great job of setting up the next book. I hope there are many, many more.

More of Levi’s past comes out in this book. Trudy has been hired to help find Rachel. Rachel also happens to be Levi’s father’s stepdaughter. Things come to light when they have to travel to where his father lives. Levi has made so much progress with Trudy. He is more open now. You can see all the changes since we first met him in Through His Eyes. The growth he has as a character is great. And seeing exactly why he has the issues he does has puts a lot of it into perspective.

Levi isn’t the only one that has changed. Trudy is also changing for the better. She’s becoming more confident. She’s more accepting of her gifts and is finding out she has more than just one. It’s a slow process for both of them.

They are the perfect match for each other.

“I never believed in much before you.”
“I didn’t believe in fate or charisma and certainly not love. Now look at me! I’m so goddamn Disney character, I’m so smitten and corny.”

I love reading about their adventures.

**REVIEW** Through His Touch by Deborah Camp

23091979

BLURB

Sexy, suspenseful #2 novel of the Mind's Eye Series by Deborah Camp. Psychic detectives Levi Wolfe and Trudy Tucker face an unknown foe who is determined to destroy everything beautiful in Levi's life -- including Trudy. Will Levi's love claim her or kill her?

$3.99 or Free on Kindle Unlimited

This is the second book in the Mind’s Eye series. They do need to be read in order. It is a continuation from Through His Eyes. It picks up where Through His Eyes ends. I had my ideas about the last books ending. And I was kinda right, for the most part. This is another enjoyable read and I will be starting the next book as soon as I can.

Levi and Trudy are trying this whole relationship thing. Being long distance is rough, for both of them, but especially hard for Levi. He is a man-whore, or was a man-whore. He is trying to stay faithful to Trudy. I had my doubts at first if he could or not.

He is starting to open up, little by little, to Trudy. Most of the time, he is forced to tell her because something happened.

Not only are they starting this relationship, they have to deal with a stalker and a murderer also.

The murderer hates Levi, this is very personal.

Levi grows a lot in this book. I can completely understand why he has the issues that he does have. Especially after reading what he has gone through.

“You, Trudy Tucker, blew through me like a Tulsa twister and obliterated my organized, satisfying existence.”

I love how Trudy sees into him and doesn’t let him keep hiding.

I received a copy in exchange for an honest review.

GOODREADS

This is the first book by Deborah Camp that I have read. I really enjoyed it. I will definitely be reading the rest of this series. I loved the characters. I do want more about Quintara though. I thought Trudy was a little naive, but she wasn’t annoyingly so.

Trudy Tucker is a psychic. She can connect to murderers and see through their eyes. She has just started using her ability to help people. Her friend, and mentor, Quintara has called her to get her to come to the Keys and help find a serial killer. She goes because she will be working with the great Levi Wolfe!

Levi Wolfe is a well-known psychic medium. He has spirit guide and can communicate with the dead. He has written books, makes television and radio appearances, and he helps the police. He doesn’t have a great family history. But he likes to be mysterious.

I did guess who the serial killer was right away, but it was still great reading about how they figured it out.

I am curious about the ending. Is it Lizzie or the woman that was following Levi in the Keys?

I can’t wait to read more about Trudy and Levi.
