This is yet another great stand alone from Penelope Ward. This is a hate to love story.
Knowing someone like Scottie, made it hit close to home for me. My guy is a little verbal though.
Carly and Josh didn't like each other. They both loved the same guy? Differently, but it was still love. One as a best friend and the other as a fiancee.
They are both still feeling that loss. And the guilt.
This is a slow burn read.
I loved how it worked out. I didn't like finding Scottie a group home, but sometimes it is needed.
