**RELEASE BLITZ WITH REVIEW** Saving Her by Alexis Noelle

Title: Saving Her
Author: Alexis Noelle
Genre: Contemporary Romance
Release Date: August 17, 2015
My heart was crushed by a man who promised me everything and then took it all away. He proved to me that you never really know someone. People lie. Love is meant for fairy tales, not real life. He makes me want to throw caution to the wind. I don’t want love, but I do want Mason Brooks.
Love is a fantasy. Something that people convince themselves is real, but it isn’t. I was taught at a very young age that love is toxic. Since then I have learned to not need anyone. I have a small group of friends but they are given my loyalty. I have no use for love. She is dangerous to me. She makes me wonder what her touch would feel like. Lacey Hunt is toxic to me.
When two people are irreparably broken can they rise from the ashes?
Can love exist in two black hearts?

Man, I don’t even know how to start this review.  At the beginning, until about half way, I felt it was too rushed.  I wanted more.  It felt like something was missing.  But that ending, absolutely gutted me.  I hugged my daughter, while I was crying and she just laughed at me because a book made me cry again.

There were parts of the timeline that felt off to me.  The major one is that Lacey and Mason had sex on her birthday, then a couple days later she finds out she’s pregnant.

I would have made the same decision that Lacey made.  I can understand why she kept her other secret.

Mason changed so much in this short book.  At first, I had no hope for him.  But he surprised me.

“If you lived life the way I had you would understand.  Love is toxic.  It’s twisted.  It’s evil.  It leads to pain, humiliation, and everlasting scars.  It is a tool of the devil masked with angel wings.”

But he finds his Saving Grace.
