This is such a great, sweet and heartbreaking read. The characters are perfect. I loved them right from the very first page.

Palmer is an amazing single mom. Everything she does is for Ethan.

She does so much for everyone she knows. But she does it all on her own. She doesn't ask for help.

Cole is a retired baseball player. He is exactly what she needs. She just doesn't know it yet.

He has something weighing him down though. He doesn't want to be a burden to anyone, especially Palmer.

These two learn what love truly is.

"Maybe it's not baseball. Maybe...maybe it's what baseball will lead you to."

This is a great Christmas time stand alone.

The girl that absolutely loves Christmas and the guy that is a Grinch and hates it. Plus it's a best friend's little sister trope. With all of that, this makes for a great story!

The first meeting between Kenzie and Andrew was so funny. He was a jerk though.

Kenzie is a happy and bubbly type of person.

Andrew is the serious type.

Thank God opposites do attract.

But they both learn from each other and grow because of it.

This is a great read and we get to see a glimpse of the Mancino brothers and families!

This is the third book in the Gloves Off: Next Generation series. They are stand alones, but you'll get more out of it by reading them in order. There is an story line that runs through the series.

This is Ethan and Peyton's story.

It all started with a one-night stand.

Peyton is a Hollywood sweetheart. Ethan is an MMA champ.

What they go through...Man, I have no words.

Not everything is bad though. There is some good things that happen in this book as well.

I wonder who is next and what's going to happen now that the parents know what is going on.

This is a spin-off from the Cerberus series. But don't go thinking it's like Cerberus. This is nothing like that. This book is dark and deals with some triggering topics! That's your warning.

We have met Angel and Lauren before. We met them in Thumper's book in the Cerberus series.

I knew that Lauren had some demons and liked things rough, but I had no idea she had to have it as rough as she did. Boy is she messed up. Badly.

Angel has his demons also.

Their demons make them perfect for each other.

Like I said earlier, this book is a dark read.

I'm inching up on the BIG 4-0. The gray hairs are doubling what seems like daily, and the wrinkles and laugh lines are more pronounced than ever.

I have an amazing husband (Married just over 15 years.)

We have two boys we're doing our best to raise as respectful gentleman.

I have a master's degree in criminal justice which I used to work as a juvenile probation office until deciding to write full-time in June of 2019. So that means there's usually always some criminal/law element to my novels.

If I'm not writing; I'm reading.

My favorite genres recently are bully/reverse harem and enemies to lovers. Maybe I'm reliving my traumatic teen years through the girls who actually end up with the boys. (Not that I would change my history since it's gotten me exactly where I need to be!)

I love coffee. I miss carbs. Music is LIFE. I try not to be too serious.

I will admit that I didn't read the blurb for this. (I actually still haven't). But Rachel is one of those authors for me. Anything she writes, I will read. No blurb needed.

Now with that said, I am so glad that I went into this book blind. I had no idead what to expect, or what I was getting myself into. I actually think that it made the experience even better.

I'm not going to say much. There is way too much that I could ruin for someone else.

I couldn't put this down. It's a fantastic read.

It is highschool kids, but this definitely isn't a young adult read. And there are some tough subjects that are dealt with while reading.

I absolutely loved it.

We finally have Crows book. If you remember, we met Crow in Tamara's book.

He was a complete d-bag to her. But, he did know he was going away for a while. So he treated her that way for a good reason.

Now he's out and free. But everything has changed. The club, the brothers, families now.

Birdie is a single mom that is hitting rock bottom. And of course she meets Crow on the worst day.

Both characters are great.

I'll be honest, I didn't like Crow in Tamara's book. But we get to know the real Crow in this story. He is a good guy.
