I don’t even know where to start with this review. You really need to pay attention to the
warning at the beginning of the book!
Chelsea Camaron is one of my must read authors. I didn’t even read the synopsis before
reading this book.
I will admit, the first chapter was very hard to get through
for me. Not because of the writing. The writing is great. It was the subject matter that got to
me. I have a seven year old daughter and
as a mom, I couldn’t fathom how Fallyn’s mom could allow this to happen and
even watch sometimes. It hurt that any
child would go through what Fallyn did.
I think It ended up taking me about thirty minutes to read the first
chapter because I had to stop every other page for a break.
Giano isn’t a good guy.
He is a hitman. But he is so
caring towards Fallyn. His “angel”.
He gave her a second chance at life. He gave her Angelina’s life.
There are some twists that I didn’t see coming. There are truths that come out also.
I loved the two very different epilogues. You basically choose your own ending. I loved both, but I think the first one is
the ending I would pick.
This isn’t a hearts and rainbows romance. Like I said at the start of the review, pay
attention to Chelsea Camaron’s warning.
This is a dark read and there is some disturbing scenes.
