This is the third book in the AFLA PI books, they are stand alones. Each book is great, so this is definitely a series that you don’t want to miss out on! If you are having withdrawals from the Gallo family, you do get to see some of them in these books. You don’t have to read the Men of Inked series first though, even though this series is a spin off.

We finally get Bear’s story! He is older, in his early fifties. But he is a silver fox and has the stamina of a man twice his age. With his stamina and the experience that comes with age and his man whore ways, how can a girl go wrong?

He hasn’t had the easiest of lives. Especially after losing his wife during the birth of their second child. He didn’t handle It well and has some regrets because of things he did, or didn’t do.

Franny is Morgan’s mom. She is foul mouthed and was wearing track suits. She was basically a golden girl. But when she decides she wants to turn Bear’s head, things change and get heated up. And boy they get heated up fast with these two.

They are great for each other. This is a second chance for both of them. Now to just get Morgan on board with his friend and coworker banging his mom.

After reading this story, I need to go back and read Top Bottom Switch. I haven’t read it yet and that is Bear’s son, Ret’s story. After hearing about him and his girl, I have to read that as soon as I get a chance to.

I love how nosy Franny is. But when she interferes, she does it from her heart.

This is such a great read. But I want to know what happened with the case that Ret took off on at the very end of the book!
