This is another great book by Kasey Millstead. I loved reading this. I haven't read many step brother books, but
this one is great. I couldn't put it
down. Not only is this a step brother
romance book, it also deals with family secrets.
Cassidy Delaney never really had a mother that loved
her. And once she became pregnant, it
was either get rid of the baby, or leave the family for good so that her mess
up wouldn't get out and ruin her mother's life.
Especially because of who the father is.
She was not allowed to say goodbye, or tell anyone, including the father
of the child, that she was pregnant. Her
best friend makes her go on a dating show and that's when the secrets start to
come out.
Brock Mason met Cassidy when she was 17. His father married her mother. There was an instant attraction though. He had to have her. Then she just up and disappears for 6 years. He finally sees her again and has so many
questions about why she left all those years ago. He's been keeping a family secret also. He was with his step sister. Brock is a true alpha male, even as a
teenager he was. But what will happen
when he learns about Cassi's other little secret? I was very happy with how he reacted to
it.
This book was a quick read for me. I loved it.
I loved how it ended, especially when Cassi's mom got what she
deserved! I always jump at the chance to
review Kaey Millstead books. I haven't
read one that I didn't love!
