This is the
first book by L.P. Dover that I have read.
This series has been on my to be read list for awhile now, so I jumped
at the chance to participate in the blog tour for the series. I'm so happy that I did. I wish I would have read them sooner though. This did bring me out of my book slump that
I've been in.
This story
gives us a glimpse of Ryley and Camden Jameson, 'The Twins of Terror'. They are hot UFC fighters, and both are
complete alphas. Oh and they are twins. They are complete manwhores though.
Well, they
are until Ashleigh comes along and agrees to one night with each of them.
Camden is a
complete douche bag, but you can tell he's just protecting himself. I have a feeling there is way more to him
than what we've seen so far.
Ryley, wow,
yea I expected him to be more like Camden.
He is, don't get me wrong, but he's different with Ashleigh. And with Megan. He's a great guy beneath his whoreish ways.
Ashleigh is
freaking great. I loved what she did to
Camden! That took some balls. I am curiou about her after the ending
though.
"This

When you’re told to stay away from someone or something it only drives the urge to go after it more. In this case, that was exactly what happened. For years, Gabriella Reynolds—younger sister of MMA’s Heavyweight Champion, Matt Reynolds—was warned by him to stay away from his fighter friends; she deserved better and they would only break her heart.
Did she listen? Yes, for a while, but temptation can only consume you so much until you fall into its trap. This is part
two of A Fighter's Desire. I would
highly recommend you read the first part, first. Even though both books are centered around
different characters, there are some story lines that continue on through both
parts.
This is
Gabriella and Tyler's short story.
Gabriella is
the younger sister of Matt. Matt is the
UFC Heavyweight champion. He also has
been training her in MMA, which no one knows about. She has wanted Tyler for awhile now. But her brother is Tyler's best friend and
doesn't want her around the other fighters.
Tyler wants
Gabriella also, but knows he can't have her.
Matt would kill him if he ever found out.
"You
could look at him and tell he was an animal, an alpha. He takes what he wants, when he wants it, and
doesn't ask permission."
Gabriella
doesn't want to wonder what if, she wants Tyler for the weekend.
"If you
come back to Vegas and you want me," he growled low, "you'll be mine
and only mind." He kissed his way
down my neck and over my breasts, biting them through the fabric of my shirt. "It'll be our secret. I just need to make sure you want to come
back."
I love her
friendship with Ryley. She is a good
friend to him. Surprisingly, he is also
a great friend to her!

I am hooked
on this series and can't stop reading them.
I do suggest you read them in order.
This book picks up with Tyler, after A Fighter's Desire part Two
(0.6). I am loving these alpha UFC
fighters.
This book
starts after Gabriella left Tyler the letter.
They still hook up once in a while, but decide it's time to stop. They are still friends though.
Tyler
"The Terror" Rushing is a heavyweight fighter. He has a chance to get the championship belt
now that Matt (Gabriella's brother) has retired. Like the other fighters, he is a
manwhore. Don't get me wrong, he isn't
as bad as Ryley and Camden, but he's close!
Kacey
Andrews is the younger sister of Kyle Andrews, Tyler's enemy. She left the life of being around those guys
behing her, or so she thought. Who would
have thought that going to a gym with her best friend would put her right back
in that life. I love her mouth! Especially the first time she talks to Tyler.
"I
simply don't date steroid-taking brutes who walk around thinking they're God's
gift to women. You're just not my
type. Nice to meet you, Tyler. Have a
good day."
After this
the game is on and Tyler intends to win.
But what will happen when what Kacey is hiding comes out? Will Tyler be able to stop being a
manwhore? We do see a softer side to him
and it's awesome!
"I
don't want to get hurt either, but it's a risk you take when you let people
in. I can't promise I'm not going to do
stupid shit and piss you off, but I can promise I will always be honest and
straightforward. If there's something
you want to know, I'll tell you the truth."
I am curious
about what will happen to Kyle after what he did though. Starting the next book right now!
Regretting her decision to let Ryley go, Ashleigh Warren comes back into town and confronts him. Holding only one secret back, she puts the rest on the line and asks for a second chance. Too bad he’s not going to let her off easy.
Camden Jameson loves his twin brother, but his jealousy runs deep. They may be identical in looks, but that’s where the similarities end. When Ashleigh comes back into Ryley’s life, Camden has the perfect opportunity for revenge. Two birds, one stone. A journey to the Dark Side affects them all, but only one will truly get their revenge. Only one will come out on top.

I am so
hooked on this series it's not even funny.
I am loving these alpha fighters!
This is the second book in this series.
I suggest you read them in order and make sure you read books 0.5 and
0.6, A Fighter's Desire parts one and two, first. Ryley and Ashleigh's story actually starts in
book 0.5 and htis picks up a couple months later.
Ashleigh
left Rylet for Colin, he was the "safer" man of the two. She made a huge mistake though. She loves Colin, but is in love with
Ryley. Ashleigh is going to have one
hell of a fight on her hands to get Ryley back.
Is she ready for that? Can she
handle that on top of her secret? Will
Ryley be there and take her back?

Colin still
loves Ashleigh and won't let her go. I
feel bad for him, but what he does and how je joins with "The Dark
Side" is unforgiveable!
Ryley
"The Rampage" Jameson loves Ashleigh so much, but she broke his heart
when she left him for Colin. He sort of
reverted back to his manwhore ways. I
love seeing the true Ryley, especially after he learns the secret.

to, the chance to see different cities and fuck whoever I wanted. That was the life for me...until it just

This won't
be easy for Ryley and Ashleigh.
Especially with Camden being a complete douche. Now that Kyle is out, Camden has replaced
him. I really hope Camden can redeem
himself, but honestly, I'm not sure if he can.
He needs to fix himself. He is
consumed by his jealousy of Ryley and his anger.
Now onto
Paxton's Promise. Can't wait to see what
the "terms" with Gabiella are!

This series
is so freaking awesome. I am loving how
each book has different main characters, but the previous couples are still in
each book. This is Paxton and
Gabriella's story. And what a story it
is!
Paxton
Emerson is the Champion for his weight class in the UFC. There is still one thing he wants though, and
that is Gabriella. In the previous book,
he helped Gabriella and Ashleigh.
Gabriella now owes him. And he
knows what he wants his "terms" to be.
Gabriella
"The Machine" Reynolds is an up and coming women's batamweight UFC
fighter. She is a great friend and will
do anything for them, including getting help from the devil's (Kyle) friend,
Paxton. She is attracted to him, but she
feels guilty about it.
"My
traitorous body reacted to him like a dog in heat. What the fuck was wrong with me? I wanted to fight him, yet I yearned to
submit to him." ~Gabriella
Now she has
to live with him for a month!
"Fighting
this will only make it worse, Gabby. You
can lie all you want, but I can always tell when you're not giving me the

Things
change for Gabriella when she realizes she has been so wrong about Paxton. Then she gets a stalker and you're kept on
your toes for the rest of the book!
Kyle and
Camden both surprised me in this story.
Maybe they can both be redeemed.
It would take a lot, but it could happen.
I love the
relationship between Paxton and Gabriella.

Lives will be lost, some will be damaged, and a dark, hidden secret will be revealed. In the end, Camden finally learns what it means to put everything on the line for love, even if it costs him.

This is the
4th book in L.P. Dover's Gloves off series.
Make sure you read the others first, because you'll need it to get the
complete picture of Camden and his fall.
This is his book, but his story starts at the very beginning of this
series and continues to build up throughout the other books. I was honestly worried if Camden could be
redeemed or not.
Camden is
Ryley's twin. He has made some horrible
mistakes, including what he did to Ryley and Ashleigh, and belonging to the
Dark Side. In the last book, he started
to change by helping Gabriella and Paxton out.
He is on the
run and hiding because Scar has put a bounty on his head. Mason has been moving Cam around to keep him
safe and alive, until the case is closed.
Brooklyn is
one of Mason's agents. She is also Cam's
"babysitter". He doesn't know
she's there, watching him though. he
doesn't officially meet her until they have moved again. Things change from there. First a friendship, then more. She can bring him to his knees. It's exactly what he needs.
"You're
not scaring me, Cam. Redemption is
around every corner, you just have to be willing to work for it."
Of course
this relationship isn't easy. On top of
having to work for it, Cam's life is still in danger, Brooklyn's ex is a
douche, and there's a traitor on her team.
All this needs to be figured out.
It's a wild ride with a few gun shot wounds thrown in. I honestly thought the traitor was someone
else.
Camden has
been completely redeemed in my book. And
I love Brooklyn.
