This is the third book in the Lake Starlight series.  They are standalones, but we do see the previous couples in this book.  Plus you have the cabin that is in each book.

Even though Dori is gone, that cabin is her way to bring the great grandkids together with who they love.

Lance and Kenzie were together in highschool.  highschool sweethearts.  First love, first everything... until they broke up.

Now Kenzie is getting married and not to Lance, but his nemesis, Will.

I really didn't like Will.  But I love Lance and Kenzie.

I know some won't like Kenzie.  But what happened in college was age and alcohol.  Plus missing home and being heartbroken.

I love how this worked out.  I can't wait for Palmer's book.  Especially with how she showed up at the wedding!
