Linc has two very important things on his mind—professional football and his motorcycle club.
What he does not have on his mind is the woman that drives him crazy and makes him want to do stupid things, like throw caution to the wind.Nope, not Linc.
At least, that’s the lie he tells everyone.
In reality, every time Conleigh’s name is mentioned, he squirms.
She’s everything that he wants, wrapped up in a cute little package that is stamped ‘hands freakin’ off.’
She’s four years younger than him, in school to be a doctor, and thinks football is stupid.
Even more, Linc and Conleigh get along like oil and water.
There’s not a single second that they’re in each other’s presence that they’re not at each other’s throats.
But all it takes is hearing that she’s in trouble for Linc to drop every single thing—football and MC duties alike—and head to her side.
A side that he’ll remain at until they either kill each other, or finally give into the heat between them.
Either way you look at it, he’s well and truly screwed.

Yea!!! We get Linc
and Conleigh’s story!! I was so flippin
excited to start reading this. And I
wasn’t disappointed at all.
Even though this is technically a stand alone, it is the
second book in the Bear Bottom Guardians MC and there is a continuing story
line that I wasn’t expecting. So I do
recommend you read Rome’s book, Mess Me Up first. Just a warning, it will mess you up, but I
really think you should read it before this.
We first meet Linc when he was a kid in Jessie James’ book,
The Beard Made Me Do It. We also have
meet Conleigh in Steele’s book. We see
how much they both have changed since they originally appeared in a previous
series. Both have grown up so much.
The chemistry that these two have is off the chain. The sex scenes are steamy as hell and will
make you need a change of panties.
The little twist with a surprise “guest” had me thinking “oh
shit”. I really wasn’t expecting her to
show up. But now, I’m even more curious
about her. No, I won’t give her
name. Sorry, not sorry.
This is another great read by Lani. She is one of my must read, no reading blurb
first authors. I know whatever she
rights, I will love. There hasn’t been a
single book that I haven’t, and I’ve read them all.
“Telling her to calm down is child’s play. If you really want to see her eyes spit fire,
tell her she’s acting like her mother.” – Linc’s secret thoughts
“Are you fine being hugged while you pee? That’s a question you should ask yourself
before having kids.” -Conleigh to Linc
“Sometimes I feel like I need a shot of whiskey for every
single person I’m forced to talk to.” – Text from Linc to Conleigh
