I loved the No Prisoners MC series. So when I saw Lilly Atlas had a new series
out, I had to check it out. Especially
after reading the blurb. I was in the
mood for a tear jerker.
Unfortunately, this didn’t do it for me. It is an okay read though. I still enjoyed it.
My heart broke for Alyssa and Derek because of what they
went through.
But the story fell a little short for me.
All the interaction between them was during sex. There weren’t many conversations that happened
out side of sex. There were a lot of
inner thoughts.
It felt like you would get a few chapters of sex, then a
chapter without . Don’t get me wrong, I
love a steamy scene, and these were. I
just need more interaction between the characters.
I’m sure I’ll be in the minority, and that’s fine. This is just my opinion.
