Blurb
Joshua Dawson is my best friend's ex-boyfriend. That alone
should be reason enough for me to keep my distance. Add in that he's a well
mannered, loyal and hardworking artist and I should be running in the other
direction.
He's damn near perfect, and I prefer my men hard to love and
easy to leave. Josh's only flaw is he wants forever, and for the first time I
might want the same. But loving someone doesn’t mean you deserve them.
He's all I want and everything I can't have.
This is a hard review to write. I loved the other books by Jacob Chance that
I have read. This one was just an okay
read for me. The blurb hooked me, and
made me really want to read this.
I really didn’t like Elle much, at all. She got on my nerves some. Don’t get me wrong, I felt for her because of
what she went through. I really did. I can understand why she has the issues she
does, but she fell short for me.
I did like Josh, even though I don’t usually like characters
that pine instead of act.
I felt the conflicts with Scott and Liberty were
anticlimactic. I was like “that’s it?”
I’m sure most people will love this book. So I would say to check it out.
