EEK!! A new series by the awesome Julia Mills. I've course I
would buy and read this. She is one of my must read authors! I don't care what
it is, I'll read it. I haven't been disappointed yet.
Now this one is different, it's not dragon shifters! Yes,
you read that right, this is not a dragon book. It's a "vampire"
book. Well, they aren't really vampires, they don't sparkle or anything like
that. They don't have to feed all the time, just once a month and they never
kill who they feed from. They only take enough to stay healthy. So there are no
"victim's" in this book.
I loved the twist to the vampires. The Kings of Blood. I
really can't wait to read more about them and their mates. It's a great, unique
twist to vampire stories.
Viktor Katsaros, or Viktoras as he was known a very long
time ago, is "The Unum', The One, the first King of the Blood." Zeus
himself made Viktor into a King. I love how the story started, and how unique
it is. How Viktor, and the others came to be.
Each King, will have a mate. They will know when their mate
is born. But they can't go to her, they have to wait for her to seek them out,
unless she's in mortal danger. If they aren't mated by their 3,000 year, then
they die.
Katarina Romalesky, or Kat, is Viktor's mate. She needs his
help for her tech company. So she goes to see him to pitch a project to him for
him to help fund. She has no clue that her life is about to change.
But just when things start to heat up some, a traitor from
the past strikes. Enter Bjorn. He's the reason why Viktor was killed in the
first place all those years ago.
This is a great read and I'm hooked already. Roman is next!
I can't wait for it! First I was hooked on Julia's dragons and now I'm hooked
on her Kings! I couldn't put this down and read it in one sitting.

I have ever read or will ever write pale in comparison to my daddy! I am a sucker for a happy ending and love some hot sweaty sex with a healthy dose of romance.
