I am loving this series! I will read anything, and everything, that Bella Jewel writes! This was an amazing read. I was not disappointed at all.
This book picks up right where the first one ended. Jess has been kidnapped by Dimitri, Hendrix's step son, who is out for revenge.
Jess's past comes out in this book. We get more details about what happened to her, by her foster father, Roger. She killed Roger, and Hendrix saved her.
Dimitri thinks that everything that has happened to him is Hendrix's fault. We heard what happened to Dimitri, from Hendrix, in the first book. In this book, we hear it from Dimitri.
Both Dimitri and Jess have been through so much. They both move on differently though. Jess still lives, while Dimitri only wants revenge. These two getting together could be great, or it could be a disaster because they are both so messed up. You'll have to read the book to find ot how it works out. And what they do when the past comes back!
"She changed me. She made me see things differently. No matter what I did, she always had a way of coming back at me and completely throwing me. She never showed fear. But she'll be scared now, Indigo. She'll be so f***ing scared."
