Fearing Regret is Barbara Speaks second Nobel, and she hit it out of the park with this one. A truly great story of love, heart ache, regret, overcoming, surrendering, loss and learning. It has everything a book needs to be a success. Kate is a character that has it all, but that one thing she truly wants... Love, and we can't buy that. Her character made me laugh, scream and cry. She has her issues, she's not perfect, and she knows that. There was a certain point that I wanted to slap the hell out of her and tell her to wake the hell up. Mr. Mysterious, I freaking LOVED him!!!! I'm not telling you his name (a lot of other reviews have, but it will not. I want y'all to be surprised like i was) You have to find out just like I did, then you will say "HOLY CRAP!" Because I know I did. I will say that you have met him in the previous book, Finding Solace. His character is amazing. He's everything you'd want in a book boyfriend. He brings so much fun and laughter into this book. Again, like the last book, the friends of Kate's are awesome and big in her book, like in Finding Solace. I love all the different friends, they each bring something different with their personality. I'm a fan of HEA's and Barb gave us that. We get all the trials and tribulations of they're relationship. You will be heart broken at a point, maybe lose a few tears, then BAM, hit in the dang face!! The sex scenes are HOT, I can't forget about that, Ladies. I GIVE THIS BOOK 5 stars!!!
