This is the 2nd book in the Lake Starlight series.

This is Brinley's book.  If you've read the Bailey's series, she is Liam and Savannah's daughter.  She's also a widow.

A widow that now needs a roommate.

This is where Van come in.  Of course she thought Carrey was actually Carrie!

The attraction between these two was hot right from the start.  So hot there has to be rules written down!  Brinley just isn't ready yet.

Van has the patience to wait and help her get there though.

There are a couple parts that made my eyes leak a little.

This is a great read and I can't wait for more of this generation.

Dori and Ethel may be gone, but they still have a hand in things happening and people coming together.

I do wonder if we will ever find out who is behind Buzz Wheel though.

This is the 12th book in the Heatwave series.  They are stand alones.

This is Stone and Opal's story.

The first meeting between these two was awesome.

Stone is a good guy and he couldn't let Opal be spoken to, or treated like that.  Like she is worthless and nothing.

I really liked how their relationship developed.

The situation with Jeff was a little predictable.  I knew it was going to happen.  Just didn't know how it would end. 

This is a good read.

There's one more in this series!

This is the fourth book in the Carmichael Family series. 

Banks is teh baby boy of the family.  He is the prankster.  He has to be center of attention at all times.  He's the needy child.

But he is really a great guy.

Sara and Banks clash like oil and water, but they could be great together.

Banks knows they could be forever.  But it's going to be rough to convince Sara.

Sara's walls are tall and think.

This is a great read.  Banks is my favorite brother.  

But I can't wait for Foxx's book.  He the mystery brother.
